Dr. Tao Chen
Dr. Tao Chen is an archaeobotanist interested in plant domestication and spread. His research combines archaeobotanical data and unearthed documents to investigate plant use and crop spread in medieval Xinjiang. He is also working on a research project on spatiotemporal variation of agricultural patterns in the Loess Plateau of China.
Dr. Tao Chen is an associate professor at the School of Archaeology and Museology at Shanxi University. He completed his BSc in Archaeology at Sichuan University and later received his PhD in Archaeological Science from the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences.
