Dr. Carli Peters
Dr. Carli Peters researches the study of ancient human-animal interactions through the analysis of animal bones from archaeological sites. Initially trained as a zooarchaeologist, she has since specialized in Zooarchaeology by Mass Spectrometry (ZooMS) and palaeoproteomics.
Peters’ work with the FEDD team focuses on using ancient protein analysis to identify small bone and eggshell fragments recovered during wet flotation. She is currently based at the ICArEHB, where I work as a postdoctoral researcher in the ERC-MATRIX project led by Dr. Vera Aldeias.
